How to use?
PACIFIC is available in 4 sizes:
F: Women and men with a BMI (1) greater than 23 and/or 9 cm (3,50 inches)) distance between cheekbones.
S: Women and men with a BMI (1) less than 23 and/or 9 cm (3,50 inches)) distance between cheekbones.
K: Children aged 6 to 11.
(1) BMI: Body Mass Index
How to calculate BMI?
The BMI is universally expressed in kg/m2, resulting from mass in kilograms and height in metres. If pounds and inches are used, a conversion factor of 703 (kg/m2)/(lb/in2) must be applied. When the term BMI is used informally, the units are usually omitted.
Although made with two materials, one water repellent and the other plastic, PACIFIC is only fully effective when dry.
Wearing a wet mask decreases the effectiveness of the mask.
Not suitable for a vulnerable person.
Not suitable for a child under 3 years old.
Antibacterial material according to ISO 20743 and water repellent (the polarity of the droplets makes them assemble together rather than penetrate the tissue).
The lack of scientific consensus on the size of the droplets composing the aerosol, from 1 micron or less to 13 microns and more, forces us to give the protection value for the smallest size.
